audiTÉRium 2007
Az Auditérium az Országház elõtt fekvõ, mûfûvel borított, speciális hangtechnikával felszerelt látvány- és élménypark. A téren kialakított ösvényeken kortól és nemtõl függetlenül, férfiak, nõk és gyerekek, sétálnak, fülelnek, keresik a számukra legérdekesebb hangokat, zenei élményeket, illetve a parkon belül hangmentes helyeken pihennek, szemlélõdnek. Az Auditérium egy különös városi kert, teleültetve és csenddel. Egy olyan kert, amiben semmi sem az, aminek látszik, semmi sem úgy viselkedik, mint ahogyan azt egy természetes környezetben megszoktuk. A kertben csend honol, mégis muzsikától „hangos”. A lüktetõ nagyváros szívében ad lehetõséget az emberek számára, hogy egy elvarázsolt réten sétálva gondolkodhassanak, leülhessenek, olvashassanak, beszélgethessenek, álmodozhassanak, vagy rátaláljanak az emléket idézõ dallamra, vagy a hangok közötti csendre. Egy speciális akusztikai és technikai komponálásnak köszönhetõen a téren elhelyezett különös berendezések szimpla hangszóróból hangszerekké válnak. Az Audio Spot Light (USA Holosonics) egy különleges hangszóró, amely ultrahangokkal alakítja a hangot úgy, hogy a longitudinális nyomáshullám sokkal keskenyebb lesz. A hang ettõl gyorsabban halad, így sokkal irányíthatóbb és távolabbra vihetõ, mint egy átlagos hangszóró esetén, ezáltal akusztikus hangprojektorrá válik. Legérdekesebb tulajdonsága, hogy mikor az ember nem áll szemben a hangszóróval, akkor nem hall semmit. A világon is egyedülálló köztér- és sound installáció, a design és a csúcstechnológia egyesítésével rendhagyó teret varázsol a város szívébe. Ezen a helyen a zene nem tölti be a köztér közel 4000 négyzetmétert. Csak a látogató nézõpontja számít, õ dönti el, hogy mennyire akar játszani a hangokkal, a zenével. Auditérium weboldala The Auditérium is a special vision- and theme park, located in front of the Parliament, covered with artificial grass and equipped with special sound system. Walking on the paths of the square, independently from age or gender, men, ladies or children keep their ears open in search for the most interesting sound, melody, or simply relax and contemplate in a quiet part of the park. The Auditérium is an extraordinary garden in the city, planted with noise and silence. A garden in which nothing is what it seems and nothing acts the way one would expect it to act. Inhabited by silence, it still is „loud” of music. It gives people a chance to think, sit down, read, chat, dream, or find a melody that brings back their memories, or even enjoy the soothing silence between the sounds – all that in the heart of a pulsating city. Thanks to a special acoustic and technical composition, the special devices located on the area, turn from simple megaphones into musical instruments. The Audio Spot Light (USA HOLOSONICS) is a special speaker, forming sound with ultrasonic, by making the longitudinal sound wave much straiter. This makes the sound travel a lot faster; by this it is more amenable and can be taken further than with a usual speaker, therefore it turns into an acoustic sound projector. The most interesting accomplishment is that if one is not standing in front of the speaker, nothing can be heard. This worldwide unique public place- and sound installation, by uniting design and high technology, conjures an extraordinary space to the heart of the city. The music does not fill all the 4000 square meters. The only thing that matters is the view of the visitors, who can decide how they would like to play with the sounds, with music.
