Élő Mű 2008
Az „Élõ Mû” egyfelõl installáció, másfelõl utcabútor, félig szobor, félig állandóan változó, élõ kert. A köztéri bútoregyüttes elemei, a föléjük magasodó különleges növényszobrok megelevenedõ árnyéknegatívaiként vetõdnek a földre. Az Nyugat-Magyarországi Egyetem nevének kezdõbetûit életre keltõ növényszobrok, az évszakok körfogásának ütemében, szinte minden héten más-más vizuális élményt nyújtanak. A különleges köztéri bútorplasztikák, olyan felületekbõl épülnek fel, amelyek mindegyike alkalmas arra, hogy az arra járók, tanulni vágyók, sétálók, beszélgetõk, a nekik leginkább tetszõ testhelyzetben heverésszenek, napozzanak rajtuk, megszûntetve ezzel a plasztika passzív tulajdonságát, és a kert aktív szereplõjévé téve a különös téri együttest. A növényóriások jellegüknek köszönhetõen, kapcsolatot teremtve a megelevenedõ árnyéknegatív plasztikákból összeálló bútorokkal, harmóniát teremtenek az Egyetem épülete, és a mellette elterülõ liget között. 
The „Living Art” is an installation, but on the other hand is street furniture, half statue, but is also a living garden that keeps changing. Joint elements of the public furniture, the extraordinary plant-statues rising above them, are projected to the ground as living negatives made of shadow. The plant statues calling the initials of „Nyugat-Magyarországi Egyetem” (West-Hungarian University), following the change of seasons, give us a different visual view almost every week. The special setup of outdoor furniture is made of surfaces that can serve as benches for people walking by, a perfect place for students who want to study, chat, or just chill and sunbathe in the most comfortable positions, dissolving the passive characteristics of the plastic, making the strange unit an active part of the garden. The huge plants, due to their nature, will make a connection with the furniture, therefore creating harmony between the building of the University and the surrounding grove. |
